Jennifer Winget (born 30 May 1985)[1] is an Indian actress and model and anchor. She is well known for her roles in Sangam, Dill Mill Gayye and Kasauti Zindagi Kay

Career

Jennifer first landed a lead role in the show Koi Dil Main Hai when she was seventeen year old. She also appeared in the popular soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Sneha, daughter of Prerna and Anurag Basu who is adopted by Mr. Bajaj. Here she was very much appreciated for her role and was paired opposite Karan Singh Grover. She also played the character of Dr. Riddhima Gupta in the series Dill Mill Gayye again with Karan Singh Grover. She was the third replacement for the role and lasted the longest and was the most dedicated Riddhima. She was appreciated a lot for playing Dr.Riddhima, as she played her during the most turbulent times of Dr.Riddhima's life. She returned with Season 2 of Dill Mill Gayye and was paired opposite Karan Wahi. She has a huge fan following both among the young and old, because of the diverse roles played by her. Winget previously played minor roles in Kkusum, Kahiin To Hoga, and Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa. As a child artist, Winget performed in the show Shaka Laka Boom Boom; she also participated in the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha, a part of the 'Meethi Chhuri Ladkiyan' team, and in the second season, as one of the hosts. Winget also appeared on the reality show Teen Ka Tadka as well.
She is one of the favourites of Star Plus and has fan in all the Karan's - Karan Singh Grover and Karan Wahi.
Jennifer anchored the reality show Laughter Ke Phatke on STAR One, and more recently co-anchored Zara Nachke Dikha with RJ Mantra. In films, she acted in Raja ko rani se pyaar ho gaya and Kuch na kaho when she was just twelve years of age. Winget said in an interview that she isn't too keen to go back to Bollywood because she is quite content with her successful television career.[2]
Currently, she is hosting/anchoring Comedy Ka Maha Muqqabla on Star plus.
